I am going to take the opportunity that is this blog post to get you up to speed on what has happened since 2016 began.
I rang in the new year with my uni mates. One of them had a place in Pyrmont so we had a quiet gathering with a round of potluck and a good ol’ game of beer pong. Missed out on the view of the Harbour Bridge and the spectacular fireworks in the area, but I’m telling myself “there’s always next year”. The following day, I got an email from Dion Lee Retail with a job offer. It wasn’t confirmed, as I had a trial shift before I got the verdict. But, it was the best possible news I could’ve gotten on New Years Day. Fast-forward a week later, I was hired and life was G.
I only managed about two weeks of work before I left Sydney for KL. It’s the first day of Chinese New Year today, and spending it when the family is especially nice after having missed out on the festivities last year.
Taking in everything (the good and the nasty) KL has to offer before I head back to Straya again.
